I had the pleasure of staying at New Leaf Cortijo for four days with my, yoga teacher daughter. New leaf is set in the most beautiful countryside surrounded by olive groves & mountains. As soon as we arrived we both felt that we were honoured guests / family. Sarah & Upesh made us so welcome; i don’t think i’ve ever stayed somewhere where i’ve felt so included & looked after by the hosts. The Cortijo is beautiful, the rooms were clean with everything you could need, kettle, towels, blankets etc The relaxed atmosphere was enhanced further by the superb cooking, Upesh created the most delicious vegan food for us, i also had more mainstream cuisine, equally superb & also prepared by Upesh. We had a few swims in the outdoor pool, explored the local walks and were led by Sarah on a fantastic excursion down through a stunning Gorge (Gollizno) where we saw 2 Iberian Ibex walking along the mountainside then straight across the path in front of us. I can’t recommend New Leaf enough, we’ll be coming back many times now we’ve found this hidden gem.
